This Refunds & Cancellations Policy (hereinafter, the "Policy") forms an integral part of Kalnet's Terms & Conditions (a trade name of Caleb Abraham Lango Villada, a sole proprietor registered under Mexico's Simplified Trust Regime (RESICO)) and applies to all services hired through https://kalnet.tech.
By hiring any service, the Client acknowledges having read and accepted this Policy.
01Nature of the services
Kalnet's services — web maintenance, digital marketing, UX design, and data analytics — are personalized professional services that involve dedicated time, resources, and specialized work from the moment they start. For this reason, and except as expressly provided in this Policy, payments are non-refundable.
02General refund rule
Once the service has started, the Client may not demand a refund of the amount paid, whether in whole or in part.
The service is considered to have started when any of the following occurs, whichever happens first: (i) the Company has begun configuration, planning, or execution tasks; (ii) resources and hours have been assigned or reserved for the project; or (iii) the first day of the hired period has elapsed.
Instead of a refund, the Company may — without being obligated to — assess the feasibility of adjusting the service or offering an equivalent service as compensation, without this implying any legal consequences for the Company.
03Exceptions: when a refund does apply
As a good-faith practice, the Company will refund the amount paid in the following cases:
04Cancellation by the Client
The Client may cancel the service at any time by notifying us in writing at contacto@kalnet.tech.
Cancellation takes effect going forward: it stops future renewals, but does not generate a refund of the amount already paid for the current period, except as provided in section 3.
For recurring services (monthly or yearly), to avoid being charged for the next period, cancellation must be notified at least five (5) calendar days before the renewal date.
From the point of cancellation, the Company will not be liable for incidents, failures, data loss, or vulnerabilities affecting the website or the Client's assets as a result of the service interruption. That responsibility rests exclusively with the Client.
05Cancellation by the Company
The Company may suspend or cancel the service, notifying the Client, in the event of: (i) non-payment; (ii) misuse of the service or breach of the Terms & Conditions; or (iii) unlawful conduct or conduct that endangers operations. If cancellation is due to causes attributable to the Client, no refund will apply.
06Processing refunds and chargebacks
Approved refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the purchase, within a period of up to 15 business days from authorization.
Payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. Fees charged by the payment gateway may not be refundable by the processor; in the case of refunds for early cancellation, these fees may be deducted from the amount to be returned.
Chargebacks. The Client agrees to contact Kalnet first to resolve any disagreement before initiating a chargeback with their bank. Improper chargebacks for services already rendered may be disputed by the Company with the corresponding evidence.
07How to request a refund or cancellation
08Consumer rights
This Policy does not limit the rights that Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law grants the Client. In the event of a dispute, the Client may approach the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO). If you are contracting from outside Mexico, this section does not limit or waive any consumer-protection rights you may separately have under the law of your own country — it only describes the recourse available in Mexico, where Kalnet operates.
09Changes
The Company may update this Policy at any time, publishing the current version at https://kalnet.tech with its last-updated date.
